In order to ensure that the students that we serve are able to achieve, academically, to their highest ability, Laraway School District has hired a full time social worker.  The social worker conducts classroom groups to teach students skills that will aid them in making friends and behaving at school.  In addition, older students are taught to reduce bullying in the classroom and school.  In addition to these services, the social worker is also available to refer students and their families for community services.
